This line beautifully sums up the long thesis. Well done lakota6.
Ultimately it is not important what happens to the stock. If it goes to zero or makes a full recovery, what is important is how longs and short have arrived at their decision. Your contention that the bears views are based on biased opinions however you can't see how this is directly relevant to yourself and other longs.
If you believe that your approach to investing in SGH was sound then the result is of little consequence. Based on what you wrote, it doesn't sound like this is the case and the real lesson that everyone can take out is how to improve their approach to entering a position to maximise the probability of avoiding positions like this in the future.
