@Sector - If I get some time I will go and try and find out if that was the case. However, zinc only bottomed at the beginning of last year and copper didn't do much till mid year. I usually have this sort of thing in my little black book but was obviously asleep at the wheel at the beginning of last year. Do have a zinc list dated 30th July.

Anyway, what is important is this year and I think we have to use our combined resources a bit better. I check the URA (ETF) market in the US every day and at the moment it is trying to catch its breath after falling out of bed last week. For the life of me, I cannot remember what it was that gave them all in the uranium market such a fright to cause that fall.

I also got worried when I saw how all the funds are placed in commodity futures as compared to the beginning of last year (my notes this morning). That makes me think I should be looking for something other than miners but I will keep an open mind for now.
