Today’s AFR has article ‘What the short-sellers have in their sights in 2017’, citing Ben McGarry of Sydney-based hedge fund Totus Capital “seeing a handful of compelling opportunities in the Australian market in 2016”(sic, but I think they meant 2017; or is this a clever way of Totus not letting on what they’re really doing?) and mentions a “high-conviction short” as sandalwood firm TFS. "The company has been promising strong cash flows for many years so this had better be the year it delivers"...
