What if... RC didn't want to go further into hock with Mac Bank, so they said, we'll make a couple of offers, the first one really low ball to outrage everyone, but it will lift the baseline SP a bit. Then the next one will be a bit higher, get the punters excited, and you will have some headroom for a CR. I know RC likes to use OPM, but the alternative might be to sell some of the family silver. I've been in since 2009, and participated in every CR since; and I would be in again in hopes that CTP can retain its future with some form of independence. It all depends on how much of the pie Mac Bank wants; a big slice or all of it.
Just a speculative thought.
