If out of the main city areas, then it's completely understandable that EV range is of key importance to most.
It is for me, and today I still require something that is a genuine 4WD (not AWD) with a range of approx. 1,000kms (or more) and with low-range and reliability.
Given the current crop and EV outlook here in Aust in this particular segment, this type of vehicle appears to be well off before a "proper off-roader" will be on offer? I wonder who will be first to challenge a fuel-based Toyota Landcruiser or Landrover Discovery etc?
Meanwhile, Tesla recently carried out a survey to better understand the ever-changing demands of what EV buyers are looking for in terms of purchasing an EV and 'range' (yes, only in the USA) ...was well down on the list of what was important, sadly. But hopefully quickly changing... ?
