Excuse my ignorance but who exactly is national nominees? I assume it's a holding entity (odviosuly massive they hold huge amounts in numerous banks, asx200 etc...) on behalf of private clients?

Or is it simply a syndicate of sorts and includes group accumulations of super etc... (not that this holding would be allowed under normal superannuation retail conditions).

I've googled and found very little except the company is in Melbourne and perhaps a subsidiary of NAB. No website and very vague google results.

Would be interested to learn more about this if anybody can shed some light.
