Hi all, I am a novice investor who recently bought into WAM. I have always wanted to invest in this LIC, however the significant premium above NAV always worried me. Notwithstanding, I am now invested and hoping the success of this LIC continues.
I am only learning about the dramatic events surrounding the discounted sale of Hunter Hall International and the seemingly illogical comments of Peter Hall.
I note WAM is a substantial shareholder in HHV and the recent media coverage, including the comments of Geoff Wilson. I share his amazement at what has unfolded.
I am hoping to gain any insight from seasoned investors in WAM on how this might impact WAM, given their large holding in HHV (number 1 weighted investment).
I am aware this was recently discussed, but was hoping for further insight.
