According to the announcement only 10% of GTPs business is agriculture. So the business should not be greatly affected. They were foolish going into olives etc. Farmers must depreciate over time . Why did they ever expect to be able to depreciate up front. Forestry is different as crops take 6-10 years to show a return. Lucky the havent gone into almonds etc in such a big way as Timbercorp.
