As the second half of January rolls around, its time to keep your eye out for quarterlies in spec land. Some pre-reading on the last quarterly, agm, nom and any announcements in between .. can be very helpful. Means any new info released will be more obvious.

Things to check and reference.. . cash (for shells) and debts. Also other liquid holdings. Any changes, notes good or bad.
Holding in other listed companies. Sometimes resources companies specifically have holdings in other entities which can have moved significantly (Annual Report though usually the best to see these)

Clues as to future acquisitions, drilling or new sector expansion.

For techies, refresh yourself about previous revenue/profit/metrics. How are they reported, have there been milestones reported previously . does this quarterly show they are on track or exceeding it? Even better if share price has been crashing or sliding (although be careful about trying to grab a falling knife)

Bio's .. to complicated for me, perhaps any resident ST Bio Traders can help - would love any tips

The market is quick and efficient, but with a bit of effort and research there is a real and actual chance to get ahead of the masses at this end of the market. Nothing better than joining the dots, getting set, waiting .. for the rest of the crowd to come join.

Lets hope the next three weeks of Jan are as good as the first
