- on 30 November 2016 Zimplats released an asx announcement titled "approval of new underground mine"
- announcement included following statement: " project will increase zimplats' mineral reserves by 3 million to 9 million platinum ounces"
- zimplats advises that statement should be disregarded
- following consultations with asx, zimplats hereby retracts statement
