Monopoly on orientation tools and down hole cameras too but I think that position is at risk more than the muds. Instruments seems to be where all the R&D focus is at the moment, seems to be a big rat race for a tool that can provide instant downhole mineralisation analysis.
IMDs global market penetration in muds and instruments for an Aus company is tremendous under told and appreciated story.
