As there is never any notice to the exchange I reckon they short sell at or near the morning high. Then they sacrifice a few to give the impression there are plenty of sellers forcing genuine asks to go under them to get the ball rolling down hill then they buy back, covering their open positions near the lows. I reckon they make a couple of cents on a few hundred thousand shares day in day out. One day soon the music will stop and we will see who has a chair to sit on.
