This disaster will be used in MBA and University classrooms as "how not to run a growth business".
The Board and those in senior management positions acted smugly and arrogantly for the last couple of years and when Rome began to burn decided to bail out on proper risk and governance whilst lining their pockets. What a disgrace. ASIC need to dig and dig deep. The Chair and CEO mislead both the big and small shareholders. Whilst you should always do your own research, if the company you are investing in is not fully disclosing and holding back on the facts then that is pure deception and the lawyers should have a case as should the corporate watchdog.
Plenty of questions still to be answered on this one. A lot of Tassie bogans who have never invested in anything put money into this because it was a great Tassie story. Rob and Laura have let those people down so I hope they realize that whilst reflecting on their own failings tonight.
