Aviation safety and governance, risk and compliance under the spotlight in Australia. Might be good for SMN as the ATSB looks like it has questions to answer being trumped by the Indonesian Air Safety Regulator. QAN is going great up rallying 3.5%, SMN up 4.65%.
The collapse of the reputation of Virgin Airlines and their Tiger Airways sub operating under their AOC in Indonesia must have some connection with the ATSB. The NTSB would never let Delta carry on like that.
We now have a situation where the governance, risk and compliance in Indonesia is greater than in Australia. What is the ATSB doing about what VAH is up to? Has Borghetti had discussions with the ATSB and is ATSB actively pursuing their compliance with Tiger?
