News out at the end of last week was Indonesia to relax export bans on low-grade nickel.

And it made me remember what a poor deal the proposed merger with AMR was - their project is worthless.  Whilst there are some directors that have departed, there is still doubt about the remaining directors who agreed to this merger working in the best interests of all shareholders.

This is evident just with the placement with Pala.  It still doesn't make sense why Kasbah needed to raise $3.8m and give Pala 19.9% stake.  Did the directors approach anyone else or just stick with the alliance with African Lion?

Worst case scenario for all shareholders was the merger going through, so lucky that there shareholders who were able to fight for the shareholders.

But its a poor reflection that the share price isn't higher than 2.6c when they updated DFS has a current NPV of in excess of USD$100m
