So based on this I would say that is just another thing that has been announced under a guise. They have just listed that as another "not measured" mineral in terms of lithium content.

However I would suspect (without being a geo) that the nature of the contaminant will depend how easy it is to separate this mineral from any Spodumene. At the end of the day it isn't just about how much lithium can be extracted it is about how cheaply/effectively it can be done so.

In saying that and in the nature of balance there are other deposits that manage the existence of feldspar etc just fine and it may not be an issue. But given management chose to not even name the mineral or give any information on it's separation these met details are scant to say the least.

And yes, they are 'preliminary' but if they expected them to get a whole lot better why announce at all? Just commit to doing a whole met program of works before releasing to the market?

...and Greenbushes (the best mine on the planet) also has large amounts of quartz by volume, assuming of course there is an issue with quartz of course for KDR (as such statements are paramount to guessing at this early stage with KDR). Yet Greenbushes is able to separate quartz quite readily ... it would seem. Seems an non issue and to be resolved ultimately in later metallurgical iterations... more smoke and mirrors?
