I think you are in the generation in their 20's that is really frustrated be property prices . I don't blame them.
Property for the most part really is out of the reach at least in Melbourne and Sydney for people of a certain age and that's sad. I met a really nice young couple in their mid 20's last night and came to understand the gravity of their situation. Basically living in a dump. Paying what is a fortune to them or what I consider too large a portion of their income to rent it without any chance of entering the market themselves. To me that's a hard situation. I about ten years older, don't have the mortgage to worry about and have a bunch of people leasing houses from me in the same situation as the young couple I met last night.
If you are in that situation then I don't know what to say. I used to say get a better job but that should really be only for people in their mid thirties + still renting. I don't believe all your posts, but I don't want to chastise or try to embarrass you over it any more.
