DUB I remember, that during the last election I posted on the ABC Election chat site about our national anthem and how it was starting to sound more like The Star Spangled Banner http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0194015.html and I questioned what had ever happened to the beautiful words from Advance Australia Fair? http://www.hamilton.net.au/advance.html Get real, another poster told me, we live in a different world now. What has politics and democracy now become? In this country the question may need to be asked, can we trust those major parties to do right by the country and to truly have its national interests at heart without hindrance from outside forces? Are we advancing fairly in the world? One needs only to look to the US and the mistrust not only of its citizens but also their congress has in its leaders.
