Just a reminder to everyone of where the next bit of positive news that will re-rate PYC's value is likely to come from.

PYC signed an agreement with international biotechnology company Opsona Therapeutics in March 2006. They delivered on the first milestone of this agreement in October 2006. In an announcement at that time the company the company re-iterated the following critical information:

<"Dr Washer said the Opsona collaboration involves a co-development relationship, in which Phylogica will deliver target-specific Phylomer® peptides to Opsona to test in
inflammatory models. Opsona will undertake this next phase of testing of the unique Phylomer® peptides over the next few months.
“Any Phylomer® peptides that are selected for further development will be licensed by Opsona, which will ultimately result in payments flowing to Phylogica as
milestones are achieved. This kind of deal is particularly valuable to Phylogica as we will share in the revenue stream arising from Phylomer® products generated through the collaboration,” he said.>



It has now been a few months since Opsona began testing the identified Phylomers so we can expect an announcement anytime soon I imagine. The massive upside potential of the agreement with Opsona is that Opsona will license and market the new drugs developed, and Phylogica will share in the revenue stream!

The markets potentials of the inflammatory conditions being targeted (rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)) are enormous.

This is just one of the many potential sources of positive information for PYC that will re-rate the company's value.
