I disagree with your assessment on this.
The LNG model is a tolling arrangement only. The US owner of the gas sells it to the end buyer - all LNG do is charge a toll for the liquefaction of the gas and loading it onto the ship.
Sure this could also be done by a domestically owned company however there are many companies in USA that invest in the country and make a profit from doing so - he is not going to stop that happening.
