Please not the difference between 'resource' and 'reserve'.
Project economics will determine how much of the 60,000t of contained copper is recoverable - a step a long way off.
I am also a bit suspect to how they have reported the Koonenberry resource. Notice even the 'inferred' category is reported to the nearest tonne. JORC stipulates numbers should be rounded to reflect uncertainty - and why they bothered to report Au, I don't know.
Category Tonnes Cu(%)Zn(%)Ag(g/t)Au(g/t)
Indicated 3,022,031 1.15 0.30 2.50 0.06
Inferred 2,731,312 0.90 0.40 2.10 0.04
Total* 5,753,343 1.03 0.35 2.30 0.05
Something to consider before investors get too excited over this one. Ferris-Haggerty - a different story.
Cheers, Beightroot
