I have answered some of those as best I am able to at present in the post above.

Depends on the second cornerstone investor deal. With Pak coming through GMC might not have needed the second investor so cards were in their hands and they could have made it extremely favourable for example: escrowed share for a number of years = No dilution for ages and funding in hands quickly. There are lots of other options such as this that GMC would have no doubt done with any additional investors. Definitely doesn't seem like they are desperate for funding at all at present!
