Your rite,most americans do detest their germ ball president i have travelled alot, most of the time people will just refer to the US as a whole, they dont separate government from poeple which is a mistake, most american's are really good people, the rest are really ignorant, mainly in the south, the south is starting to slowly wake up though after Hurricane Katrina. They are starting to realise that thier adiminstration donst give a rats hoot about its own poeple, its all about the big boys club.
