    Well COP dictated the new JOA when they farmed-in... so you would expect they know how it works.... and played accordingly. Of course any Govt can/could legislate to overturn anything... but I'm not sure this would be wise for a 3rd world nation trying to attract Big Oil... for obvious reasons. DYOR
