Appreciate your take on it...it is a little convoluted to the outsider trying to understand why these companies needed LAC, unless as I speculated that the access to lithium rich properties is diminishing and LAC has rights to the choice areas. Honestly, I find it a stretch to believe that LAC, either through Exar or other associations will be able to organize the financing and construction of a bona fide lithium processing facility. Having followed their company and the various stock offerings and mergers there is not a lot of equity to be had for shareholders in that company. If I had to bet on the outcome...LAC will be out of the loop before anything is built and SQM, Ganfeng, and Bangchak will eventually construct a plant...but it is more than likely it will be 2020 before any real production is realized. I have to think that Ganfeng and Bangchak are investing money in LAC's project as they are in a half dozen other ones around the world assuming that a few of them will end up producing, while some will never get off the ground. A $10 million investment by Ganfeng is not a lot of money to them. It's seed money.

The plot will thicken I'm sure over the next few years. Personally I bought a stake in Albemarle....just to be on the safe side over the next few years. As much as I liked ORE in the beginning I still have a few reservations...but I hope they prove themselves to be a full on producer over the next few years. I guess we'll know a lot more this year. ciao
