    Queensland Gas Company today released its weekly drilling report.
    The Kenya #4 well in PL 228 ( spudded in on February 2) in which
    QGC holds a 59.375% interest and Origin Energy
    CSG Limited holds 40.625% interest.
    Location Latitude: 26o 58’ 12” S Longitude: 150o 27’ 09” E
    The well is the fourth of a five spot pattern to be drilled to
    add geological information for a reserves certification process, as
    well as to provide gas to meet the contractual obligations of the
    Incitec Pivot Limited Gas Sales Agreement.
    Kenya 4 is designed to investigate the seams of the Juandah and
    Taroom Coal Measures in this area.
    The well will be initially completed across the Juandah Coal
    Measures seams for immediate production testing.
    Kenya #4 reached a total depth of 735.0m after intersecting
    25.7m of gassy coal in the Juandah and Taroom Coal Measures.
    After wireline logging, all significant seams in the Juandah
    and Taroom Coal Measures were underreamed and 7” pre-perforated
    casing set across the Juandah Coal Measures.
    The well is currently suspended awaiting a workover rig to
    drill out the plug and clean out the well before running the pump.
    During the rig move from Kenya #4 to Kenya #5, the transport
    carrying the Ensign Rig #34 slipped off the wet road causing damage to
    the mast.
    The rig is now stacked while repairs are conducted to the mast
    and associated equipment which will take between 7 and 10 days.

    Woleebee Creek #3 in ATP 651P

    Permit ATP 651P in which QGC holds an 85.0% interest and Lucas
    Coal Seam Gas Pty Ltd hold a 15.0% interest.
    Location Latitude: 26o 18’ 19” S Latitude: 26o 18’ 19” S
    Rig Des Carling Rig #2.
    This well was the tenth well in the current QGC drilling
    program.
    The well is designed to investigate the seams of the Juandah
    and Taroom Coal Measures in this area.
    This will add geological information for a reserves
    certification process.
    The well will be completed across the Juandah Coal Measures
    seams for immediate production Woleebee Creek #3 reached a total depth
    of 949.1m after intersecting over 40m of gassy coal in the Juandah and
    Taroom Coal Measures.
    After re-entering and cleaning out the well, wireline logging
    was carried out and all significant seams in the Juandah and Taroom
    Coal Measures were underreamed.
    7” pre-perforated casing was set across the Juandah Coal
    Measures.
    The well is currently suspended awaiting a workover rig to
    drill out the plug and clean out the well before running the pump.
