Sure & it's a great sign that Genentech have put up some money and extended the contract but it's also not something that hasn't been seen before even with Genentech themselves.
Roche > deal > extension > expansion > pass to Genentech > walk ..... Come back a year later to present deal > extension > ?
Janssen > deal > extension > expansion > walk
Pfizer > deal > milestone > walk
Still chasing the elusive license - maybe this time ?
