North Sound Capital holds 11.9% of Afplats.
I've been on this tack before , that it would make logical sense for AIM to extract whatever value they can for Mokopane --and maybe this sort of deal is currently "in play", hence the ( as reported ) decision to drop the convertible notes .
Another US $20 MILL in kitty , would make the debt financing much easier and simpler .
Maybe MF and North Sound can work a similiar deal ?
