Hi stefano100, can we get this little problem correct please. The demerger entitlements for holders to receive their in-specie NUP NuPower shares was
19/02/2007 is " cum " date, if ARU/ARUO held at close of trade you will receive your entitlement
20/02/2007 is " ex " date, if you sell you do not lose your in-specie entitlement, if you buy you will not receive any NUP Nupower scrip
26/02/2007 is record date. This allows for transactions done on 19/02/2007 to be recorded on the register, ie T3 trading etc
The rules were changed because of the T3 trading on the internet and other trading with brokers etc, allows for all the paperwork to be completed, prior to the issue of scrip in the new entity.
Means that, ANY TRADING of ARU/ARUO shares from ASX open 20/02/2007 are Ex Bonus as stated on the your screen " Basis of Quotation XB " Simple as, trades from open last Tuesday are ex entitlement.
