SVM is one of the largest land owners in the rich copper belt in the Cloncurry mineral field, one has to ask the question why would the second largest mining company on the globe want to tie up all of there properties in this mineral field proximity, of there land holding is premium and lies within the rich geoligical Mitakoodi Quartzites and other fracture zones of which history has shown and contained high quanitiy of minerals....
Examples are BHP Cannington Mine , Selwyn Copper Gold , Zinifex's Century Zinc and Ernest Henry's copper & Gold , Lady Loretta, Dugald River and the Rocklands Cudeco properties.
All of the properties owned by SVM are which Xstrata is in JV can only be described as premium targets, there in the right place at the right time with the right partners....IMHO
What else do u want in a stock i guess..
