In response to your above statements:
1. NXR previously waived their right to take a 100% stake and;
NXR did not waive this right, as the right to go to 100% never existed.
The company statement merely points out that NXR will need to acquire 100% of WBT (or another project).
2. Where is the money going to come from to take on another project somewhere else that will satisfy ASX requirements for NXR to be an actual operating entity?
Obviously a capital raising will be required.
Facts are that NXR owns 40% of the shares in WBT, and in addition has provided a loan on which is being capitalised.
As all informed shareholders are aware, a re-listing of the NXR/WBT business is subject to the outcome of the current Purdue validation/certification process.
This is currently in process as announced by NXR in December 2016.
I hope this clarifies your understanding.
Cheers
