Beave, the problem with Abbott's leadership is that he wanted to have a bet each way. Trump will fail if he is not true to himself like Abbott. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Abbott supporter but he made mistakes and tried to appease the left which is an impossible task. I can remember being frustrated with Abbott for not standing up to the left and the media and for at times trying to pander to them to appease them. If TRump stays true to himself, he will be a success in the eyes of his supporters. Trump could have employment down to 0.000000001% and there will be people who hate him who will find a town of 30 people who have 15 unemployed and they will run with that. I get the feeling Trump is aware of this. It is a mistake Abbott made and it is just a damn shame Abbott wasn't true to himself because he would have been a big Trump supporter.
