Easy answer, Malcolm Turnbull’s superior negotiating skills came into play.
Malcolm is an intellectually well endowed and thats why the Liberals
promoted him to take over from Abbott. If Malcolm fails it will be because the Far Right of the coalition causing dysfunction. If Turnbull allows the conservative right to shackle the govt he will hand govt to Labor on a platter. He has two years to turn things around.
