Yes, the very interesting thing is that they have moved their focus away from Natick. THis is teh only mistake I can see that they have made, assuming that Natick would dictate to cloth suppliers that they use AJX, whereas that apparently doesn't happen.

So Natick did all the testing etc and passed AJX FR as useable and preferable but then the procurement of the actual uniforms went off on a tangent somewhere.

At least the Marines are moving in the right direction (and they always move faster than the US Army). It's also pretty well accepted that the Marines get better value for money than the army so who lknows where this will go, (especially since the new secdef is a very recent ex Marine.....Semper fi)
