Excellent announcement in my opinion but wish it had more detail around tonnage and more detail around the finance component. It would be fantastic if this becomes binding as selling the highest margin flake to the smallest market would be a big win. Then we are left with flake sizes suitable for batteries which 'should' be easier to find a home for.
You only need to look at how many Nuclear power plants Rosatom are either in the process of building/commissioning or have won/placed bids on future plants (which includes a power plant for Tanzania itself and many other African nations) to see how serious this company is.
I think everyone expected robbo to come out swinging hard on a deal like this. Suggesting Magnis is supplying materials to make nuclear weapons is ridiculous. It would be like me suggesting KNL is supplying graphite to Thyssenkrupp who are the worlds most experienced in making nuclear submarines (which carry nuclear weapons)
