To be honest I thught AISC costs might have blown out even higher given the gravity of the pond leak and the associated costs to remedy it. It's almost as if they got away with it. It could have been a hell of a lot worse.
There was an intresting statement: the Company continues to expect that the VAT amounts due will be recovered in full once the DRC government resumes disbursements.
From memory this is the first time they have hinted at actually recovering the VAT refund as oppossed to simply saying what is owed.
I haven't had a chance to stew over the raw figures to 'read between the lines'. I don't like the look of those outgoing costs though. But now that the debottleknecking is complete, there is no excuses for not ramping this up and getting it where it should be.

If the debottlenecking is really complete they would communicate their guidance for 2017!! But have you really read something about a guidance 2017? If not you will have your answer about "outstanding excuses" from tgs!!

VAT payments? Really? Nope.. DRC will need all its money to preparing the election process which is a priority at the current times! So I wouldn't expect a repayment for 2017/18!!

And where is the f...ing cobaltstudy-news roadmap?!!

A poor poor poor quarterly with nothing new and just bs!!
