Yep - have a birth certificate to prove.

Might I suggest you divert your googling efforts away from Greenpeace (they don't have anything nice to say about any company involved with uranium) and into reading up on the energy security wars being waged by Westinghouse (US) in their bid to get a share of contracts for the nuclear fuel supplies market, how political pressure and the fears of the Russian boogey man is being applied against Rosatom (Russia) to do that. Also Hilary Clinton's lobbying efforts on behalf of Westinghouse. That's a good start in understanding the real "politics" of business.

Then you could google how Siemens, the German engineering group, abandoned ambitions to make nuclear generating equipment with Russia's Rosatom ONLY after the German government pulled the plug on atomic energy in the wake of the Fukushima disaster. Prior to that, the German company was delighted to be working with a Russian company - in particular Rosatom. When Siemens initially signed up the jv with Rosatom, they said it would become a “market leader in nuclear energy” to challenge Areva, as well as General Electric and Westinghouse, the big US players in the nuclear-plant sector. Siemens also stated they still wanted to work with Rosatom "in other areas".

So your .... "I’m sure you’ll find many German posters who will give you their honest opinion of Russia, and this sentiment runs deep. It runs business deep"....doesn't run THAT DEEP - a buck is still a buck in business, even when it's a deutsche mark!!
