the drop was due to a relatively high volume of shares traded - I suspect these were the same shares that have pushed up the price over last two weeks or so. They probably did not like the full year outlook being in line with previous year.
I think salmat is a great stock and the joint mds do an excellent job - just look at the minimal impact from the loss of the coles contract. It is hard to reconcile the sp fall( and non recovery) when loss of coles contract was announced to the minimal actual effect in the financials.
As far as the special dividend is concerned - WONDERFUL.
