This is off topic ahjay, as are many other posts now, but the whole point is, HotCopper would welcome and cherish serious, but sensible debate on all those topics.
However, we have a handful of conspiracy theorists who go off the rails, and another handful (or two) who post racist, abusive, and oft disgraceful attacks on whole groups of people for no good reason, or start attacking the people who disagree with them.
The aim isn't to stifle debate, it's to improve the quality of it, which may need removing people who refuse to comply.
