You imply that HML is somehow special by also investing in unlisted companies, activism etc. This is hardly unique. It is also one of the hardest areas to reliably add value. But so what? The articulated strategy is predominantly managed futures.

Everyone has a perfect record of predictions...until they don't.

If you think I'm implying HML is a Ponzi, well I con't control your interpretation of everything. But rest assured, if I want to call something a Ponzi I don't mince words about it. I've done it before in a professional capacity and been proved right.

You point out that I made an error about the investment mandate. So what? I freely admitted I was wrong at the time. There was an announcement I had forgotten. I (unlike others) do not pretend to have a omnipresent knowledge of all things. When I make a mistake, I own it. When the facts change, I change my opinion to reflect changed circumstances as necessary.

Oh, and feel free to get your own facts right. "...you had to apologise for misreading their PDS investment mandate". Incorrect. Go and read page 38 of the prospectus, section 3.4 Investment Guidelines. I doubt an apology will be forthcoming....

You are totally at liberty to tell me to stop 'fear mongering' if that's what you think I'm doing. That's fine. I will not even deign to tell you to stop your mindless up ramping. But also feel free to go and berate everyone on HC who says anything negative about a stock you own.

Oh that's right. Sounds like you already do.
