Talking of hugely oversubscribed floats, BOWEN ENERGY (BWN) has got a wriggle on after a lacklustre start on the ASX saw the 20c shares open at 26c and drift down to 23c, belying the huge demand indicated by the fact that the float was said to be oversubscribed 15 times.
The stock took off last Thursday with a sudden 5.5c jump to 33c and a further 2c to 37c on Friday, before ending the week at 35.5c.
Turnover was high enough to have attracted the attention of the ASX speeding police.
