    i hold my stocks under a PTY LTD, its a personal reason on my financial affairs.

    u pay an annual ASIC fee for the rego, about $250. ur accountant also wants some extra $ to file a PTY LTD annual tax return. oh, and u forgoe the 12 months CGT DISCOUNT (50%) on any shares u hold under a PTY LTD.
