Hoping all this noise is just a matter chest beating.
If the Philippines are going to behave like this they are going to destroy all levels of international credibility and hurt the very people they are wishing to protect.
As with all mining the environment needs a high level of consideration but Australian companies are at the forefront in regards to compliance and ticking all correct boxes.
To just take aim at reputable companies with all the permits in place is a blatant misappropriation of power.
Any company with projects on go in the Philippines will be extraordinarily anxious.
Any company considering investing in Philippines will be saying NO .. these guys are nuts.
