XRF is a great tool to determine mineralogy accurately in the field. On percussion samples (eg. RC) where some pulverising and homogenisation has taken place XRF can produce approx grades from the field sample. On drill core like CZN has drilled here, they are not very accurate at determination of overall grades given the 'spot' nature of the XRF beam. Even 'scanning' along a metre of core, the scanner will only see a fraction of the surface area. These results often read high. I for one am glad CZN did not release any XRF readings (as any values could be far from reality.
