I bought PRU yesterday. What some traders do is concentrate on a particular hot sectors of the market, for e.g. gold. They move funds from stocks that have already run in these hot sectors into stocks with lagging share prices because of poor company performance, in preparation for the turn around. It can be quite an effective strategy and one that i think you could learn as I can see that you follow the gold sector closely.
