Risktrader, it may not open tomorrow. Really, if it was a negative announcement, there is no way they would have announced the trading halt after close Friday. I think they have done that to get maximum bang from the announcement whenever that will be. Look at all the posts on CQT over the weekend. We are all talking to each other and obviously to others as well. The after trade Friday trading halt has done this! I think the preopen prices will be interesting but they at best, can only be reflective of punt prices. Of real interest is what happens when and if the announcement relates to the resource upgrade and it comes in at $2.5 billion as you have suggested in your post. Well, using the old miners price model value, all things being equal, a market capitalisation equal to 30% of inferred would equate to about $750 m. Um. This would be a good result I would have thought and most definitely would catapult CQT onto the bourse radar screens here and around the world. You can work the share price equivalent out yourself. Tempering all that is a nervous market at the moment and spot gold took a bit of a tumble on Friday but those with the smarts about new resouce discoveries will no doubt take heed. If it comes in at an exciting level, this may well take on a life of its home. For holders, perhaps it may be prudent to not be in a hurry to sell at opening bell!!!!!
