Not sure your definition of willing to pay 1.7 lol no one seems to be buying at that level today, so people take profits and more so the daytraders have to sell off for their T+2 trades.

They sell into 1.6c because that's what people are waiting to buy, otherwise have to sit in line at 1.7 and wait in a long que which no one is buying from.

Whether we get an hour of power that wipes off 1.6 today or the traders are forced to sell down to 1.5 to close their trades.
