200 mile range is usually said to be the tipping point. I think 400 miles will be beyond all but the most expensive cars - Tesla, Audi and Mercedes etc - for a couple of years. It's all a matter of balancing price and range. However, as battery prices continue to plummet, more can be packed into the cheaper models and the range can increase. It will be interesting to see Tesla battery prices once its plant is ramped up completely. It's all very promising for GXY and, hopefully, for slowing global warming.
