Interesting comment about Mica.
When I did a tour over the PLS tenement I saw a bit of Mica and Lepidolite. Lovely shiny, light black flakes of Mica. Which can apparently gunk up a plants machinery.
Im pretty sure most occurrences of Spodumene in Australia have both.
When I asked about the PLS Mica the geo said they map it out and mine the least mica affected areas first. Seems like a legitimate response.
Also it benefits all Lithium company's to not mention occurrences of Mica and Lepidolite on their Spodumene deposits. As the downrampers and Shorters get their rocks off and have a field day using that info.
The above comments are more about the actual relativity of mica and Lepidolite, from My small knowledge base. Very happy for more expert input from the geo's and lithium plant managers here in HC.
