Its possible that Veterans Call micro donations may take an extended period for Activistic to actually see any of the money donated via the app and split between Activistic and the charity. The donations go onto their phone bill. Im not 100% on how the back end works but it sounds like Activistic doesnt need permission from every small time telco around the world, and that small time telco cant stop you downloading the app. Suddenly the teco starts billing for extra services (the donation) and has to redirect this money to Activistic and the Charity, or all to Activistic to split to charity.
I dont know the full back end processes and if they have been publicly released or if anyone knows how it all works.
All im trying to say is there probably is revenue over last 6 months but maybe a delay getting the telco process for submitting payment.
And like others have stated, could easily be cleared up by better communication.
Also the lottery can be way more than just footy, surely they realise that too and the magpies are just swooping at the surface of what this gambling license can be used for.
